I only kind of disagree on the gym part. As exaggerated as it sounds, the "robot using the equipment instead of you" is a parallel to AI doing your thinking for you.
It's passing all the brain exercises down for AI. If you're not the one doing the thinking, you're not using the brain. And what happens to a muscle when you don't use it?
The brain doesn't even get artificially stronger with the use of AI. It shows less activity in people using it.
