Warning and caution notes are not working against the combined health promise of A.I. for the public, the technocrat and investor rapacious greed, the intense need acting on the people working in A.I. and tech to get rich to join the upper echelon before even just global economies of scale further concentrates the wealth never mind the even wider and faster disparities with A.I. and governments who are elected with corporate money and have privileged positions and are concerned about national security, securing national credit to keep the populace just happy enough not to rebel. A.I. seems to promise the answer to all those concerns. People can demonstrate, remonstrate, and vote til they are blue in the face and no one will listen. The companies will just inundate everyone with propaganda as they are doing now. The people who need to get out in the streets repeatedly and demonstrate and protest are the people in the field who have stature, reputation and skin in the game, can attract lasting media and public attention, can refute the corporate arguments in real time and convince everyone that if you choose not to make money from it because you believe it will kill you and the rest of humanity then of course governments and electors will have some tangible evidence to counter the corporate denials and discounting of their fears of A.I. If YOU are not braving discomfort to protest in the street and in front of parliament buildings and company headquarters to avoid extinction, why should we, the public, who is being told different things and don't know who to believe?
