Some start-ups increase their revenues a lot within a year... but how much impact does their AI use have compared to other start ups? Start ups are companies that just started and expect either huge growth or risky failure, ad then to recive massive investment. Does investment count as revenue?
The numbers might be deceptive if it is self-reporting or just looking at whether a company employed AI and had revenue growth.
So are the numbers directly correlated (e.g. by correcting for market trends and excluding common factors that boost revenue, or by showing a direct link between AI utilization and sales)
