Waymo is light years ahead of Tesla in the United States, and has a more sophisticated sensor system, not limited to cameras like Tesla's. Waymo is currently looking to expand to Tokyo, but I'd assume they would look to operating in Australia if permitted. Waymo's offer paid rides numberings millions per month and have a very impressive safety record.
