If AI art isn't creative then humans aren't either. Humans aren't special, we are still machines that execute instructions, it's just that the exact way that we function as a machine isn't the same way a computer does. DNA is at its core just a bunch of instructions; our brains use electrical signals that can be mathematically modelled and which are governed by the probabilistic laws of quantum mechanics just like everything else in the universe. We have lives, we have experiences of our own, but not because we are special, not because we are not machines, but because we are turned on 24/7. We can comprehend more things and see some AI mistakes as stupid simply because we are exponentially more complicated. The "AI is a machine and humans are humans" argument isn't at all valid. And emotions aren't something that a machine can't have. Emotions come from evolution; they were a simpler way to tell our organism what to do before our brains were fully developed. So if we wanted to make an AI that "shows" emotions, we theoretically could.
