ON topic, however, Pinterest is being flooded with AI art. Art spaces like DeviantArt is also being slowly flooded, and despite me having the option to not see them on, they still find a way to crawl back onto my page. And they are so very obviously AI that I get worried when the comments say "good work!" and "amazing art!". Do we not care that real artists are being pushed out of the very platform it was made for? It's worrying.
Do I find some of the AI art I find on pinterest objectively pretty and beautiful to look at? Yes, but I know what it's made of. It's like looking at a delicious cake that makes your mouth water, but knowing it has deadly poison inside it. AI should be a TOOL you use on the side, NOT BE YOUR REPLACER.
