I have noticed that many YT Shorts and even some videos are beginning to have that same AI, oily, smeary look to them. I do think it's wrong for anyone to do this without creator consent and as someone who distrusts AI in the first place, I don't click on videos that appear to me to be AI generated or modified. Call me a Luddite, but that kind of content to me isn't trustworthy and I refuse to watch it and contribute to the YT algorithm for it.
