I call "Ai art" modern day Google Search. Yah, you search for images and references for your work which is fine, tale old as time. But to google search and say, "look at the apple I MADE!" is lazy at best. Even at work, the times we use AI art is when we truly don't care about the output and just need to fill a void. Maybe a thumbnail pic for an article no one will read. More public facing art/important stuff we have a team behind.
