If future firms are driven by AI, and different AIs will converge to be quite similar in output and throughput of intelligence, then the difference between the companies will be so small that the competition between them will be low, and a monopoly will eventually result, from one major AI buying up the others. Then there will be no competition, and salaries can be controlled by that single monopolist without resistance. The problem will be monopoly, not AI in itself.
