Listen to music, everything sounds the same. Watch TV, the same stories are being told. Go to a gallery, either it’s art that copies real life or it’s weird nonsense that people have put meaning behind. Who’s getting paid when an artist paints a landscape, the owner of the land? When Disney goes to create a movie about lions in the wild, do they just create it or do they look at thousands of reference material and do their research? Who getting paid there, the lions? You can’t copyright the process behind the inspiration. If AI was pumping out one for one copies then ok, now you have a point but that’s not the case. The arguments here are flawed.
