I dunno, I think in much the same way AI can explore possibility spaces in medicine, material design, or biology that humans can't, in order to find useful or interesting pockets of that space, it likely will be able to do similar in other fields like art or entertainment. Regardless of whether one considers it "conscious" or "thinking" or "feeling" or any other adjective one cares for (all of which is not nearly as black and white as one may think.) Whether the... meaning? Meta-meaning? of those pockets changes due to the nature of their discoverer, is, I suppose, an exercise for the reader.
At the end of the day, the context of a thing, is ultimately divorced from the thing itself, I would think. Indeed, much of the context we cling to is a sort of story all its own.
