So as an expert in this field I can tell you some good news. Ai has replaced the need for deepfake! So ai now can generate nudes of any thing. And these ai generated images (often stable diffusion) are not the women or any women but art. Art made by an AI. And it makes the art from countless photos of all people across time. Including art. Or it can be entirely CGI generated. And it is art as the finished product is not the original person but a likeness. And to say otherwise would be as insane as to arguing that a doppelganger of a celeb should not be censored for being less famous. Or a nude painting in a gallery made by an artist should be a banned etc. But does this mean that such an ai image isnt a problem? Ofcourse not. It is a huge problem if the image looks like you or your loved one. But looking like isnt the same as being. And we cant ever allow someone to copyright a look as people look similar. And countless people use filters to change their faces etc. So ai is good and bad. Ai imagery means the real women or men arent being abused or cheated but now what was once obviously fake is now impossible to differentiate from real. What many people have chosen to do is profit from their beauty before a machine can. I dont like this route...but it's one way to atleast control your content. As ai will do it's own thing regardless and never give you a cent. I know many female creators who use ai to make fake nudes of themselves for their onlyfans etc. This means they're never nude but they are making the money off of their likeness. They have some control. Anything else is impossible. The legislation is too late and too little and a joke. And any more extreme laws risk freedom of expression and infringe on tech and art. No one wins as the rest of the world will continue to advance leaving us behind. So sadly there is no solution except to profit and control where you can. Anything else is a fools errand which will cost you money while other people profit from you regardless of consent. This is sadly what happens when we move fast and break things...
