A big problem we have is that "innocent until proven guilty" refers to court not arrests by police. Yet arresting an innocent person is still a harmful act as it takes away their freedom and put them in an potentially dangerous environment. This cop doesn't care what he is doing to this man and leaves it to the court to figure things out. Similar to someone saying kill them all and let god sort them out. He had multiple forms of identification, which would be difficult to fake, and ignored them all and arrested someone due to a computer saying they are the same person. Keep in mind that out of the nearly 9,000,000,000 people on the planet we are all "doppelgangers" to greater or lesser degree but he can't accept that and assumes he somehow has a buddy at the DMV that is giving him two IDs. That to him was more logical then the AI was wrong and find someone similar. So now the police bow down to AI and anyone can be arrested for crimes someone who looks closeness to you.
