My guess is AI is used to automate mass labor, jobs die off, people riot and panic, billionaires all move to their underground bunker homes they just built, WW3 hits in a cyber type war, after the other 70-90% of the people are dead and gone, the billionaires come out of hiding to the new world, they own all the resources, don't need lower/middle class humans anymore, and eventually AI outsmarts them and humans go extinct or start using implants/replacements for their organs to eventually become hybrid humans. Either way we are cooked, nothing is affordable now, COL is insane, 30% of the country is looking for work, over 70% of home owners are having trouble keeping their homes, wages are dogshite..I'm a 35 year old Operations Manager with 15 years of experience, 3 kids, a wife, and a mother I take care of, and I've been unemployed for 4 months applying daily with a resume that looks like I worked at NASA. It's not happeneing, and people are realizing or waking up to the matrix, I think we're in an age of enlightenment where people are saying "I don't want a job anymore, I want community and experiences with my family/friends" The age of Materialism is dying, and the corps/govs are ramping AI out to try and be the last rat with the cheese.
