The idea that one’s job, work, career, or craft is so easily stitched to their identity is what worries me the worst. What if the one thing a person really loves to do, is not pursued because they have bought into what the world around them has said they need to be or become? This status and notoriety game that our society plays with each other(keep up with them Jones) sounds more like a nightmare from the Bill Murray movie Ground Hog. I mean if a corporation wants to buy an Ai that literally leaves all people starving and then dead, then who would be here to buy their products and services?!?! It would seem that if Ai was to allow people to reach their true potential in a craft that is truly a passion , then offer the universal income. And in turn open up an opportunity for all people to succeed in a way that really drives them forward. Not with ease or lack of hard work. But, with the ability to chase a dream and then be okay with the fact that they will have no comfort, control, or certainty. But, with this Ai approach, at least they could really go for what they love and care deeply about. God Bless!
