I actually really want that AI movie to come out, just for what happens next. I want them to post this “movie”, for it to get mass hated and copyright reported, and for everyone to dislike it. Just because that sets an example for movie studios that ACTUALLY matter to take notes and not do the same.
Because it doesn’t matter as much if some YouTube channel no one’s ever heard of makes an AI movie, what does matter is if Pixar or Dreamworks follow and lay off people because of it. So if we set an example with this, it will hopefully get the big studios attention and scare them away from the idea of using AI in their commercial products.
