As an artist myself for almost my whole life, if AAI art is theft, then Artists are stealing too, all my work was made based on the art from someone else. Kentaro Miura, Yukimura Makoto, and many others are huge inspirations to me. Multiple times I even traced over their work to train and learn, until I was able to do it myself, all our life as a species is based in learn from others. AI uses the same principle. And you can train an AI with only photos YOU did, and the AI will still be able to do what it does. AI works in reverse engineering for the process of searching from an image, but doing it in reverse. You can say you hate AI, and this is in your right, but saying it is thelf without even knowing how it works is stupid. Also, diffusion is falling into disuse; now, almost every model is made in regression. And being very serious now, for me, Art died when the first Banana was stuck to a wall and people called it art. That alone killed my will to make art for many years. And I admit that the use of other artists is ass like Midjourney did. BUt is an impossible battle to win. The thing that makes me happy for the future is that I believe those huge companies that now slave artists are what will eventually kill their creations. An artist using AI to accelerate his/her work will do a much better job than any Asshole Suit Man. And I see in the future, we will have full movies, animations, games, etc. Being done by a single person. For example, my programming skills are minus 100, but now I can use AI to help me code. But will that generate a lot of slop? Is it not like it is now? Look at all the shit Flip Asset games released, and they all have the same thing in common: they are shit. What I believe in the future, good storytellers will still be better. An example is in literature, if you use an AI to WRITE to you a book, the result is always shit, but if you use it to improve the text you already wrote, it feels much better. So, good artists will always do better work in the future.
