Just felt like pointing out, in the long term AI cannot replace artists. AI still needs original artwork from which to sample, and if it runs out, it will start to sample other AI. This will lead to an endless cycle of AI feeding off each other's slop until the images become incomprehensible. This is already starting to happen.
AI tools also cannot replace certain types of human crafts, such as crochet. There are machines that can replicate knitting, but they can't replicate crocheting due to the complexity of the movements making it cost prohibitive. So if you want to learn an irreplaceable art skill, take up crocheting. And don't forget to show solidarity with the sweat shop workers exploited by fast fashion to crochet their cheap garments.
