If you really want to know how utterly useless AI is, stop asking for boring and generic images that you can find on stock photos websites. Ask for weird things. The other day, I was making a joke about eating a city inside a sandwich (it was a pun on Dijon but whatever, that's not important). I tried for 10 minutes to get an AI image of a city inside a sandwich. The closest thing I got was a sandwich with a hole in it, through which you could see a city in the background.
AI cannot invent. It can only copy. Therefore, you can also ask it to reproduce unoriginal art. A world where artists would be replaced by AI would be a world where art just dies.
