EVs are SO HEAVY and impractical. They aren't made for bad weather. This is just greedy shareholder buzz, and a disregard fir safety, tied with a lack of experience in the real world. We know Teslas, for example, have 6x higher death rate than an average vehicle. That they need "special" treatment because if how much heavier they are, that their carbon footprint is huge, that they lie and pull tricks to game the numbers like "turning off autopilot immeditaely befire a crash" etc. That they lock their doors in a crash and that the huge amount of lithium in a fire has to be left to burn out while it burns much hotter than gasoline and should require a special HAZMAT lisc. So many problems make EVs and driverless vehicles not ready for the playoffs.
