Watched the video, feel your pain. Can you write your point on view on 2 topics? I am not an artist, no I do not know how AI is working. 1) You said that AI generates pictures from a "database". Then if in 10 years from now, there will be no artists anymore. No one will create/draw new art. Then AI database will be "outdated" or simply "old" is that correct? It will not be able to generate any more (new style/new form) pictures, right? 2) I understand that above "1" is not the issue here. It is "rights" (you said it - why music has it). "You post your art on the internet, so it is for free", that is stupid. There are a lot of other things on the internet that are also for free (example: software, games, and also music as you mention) with each of this elements (software, game, music etc) has "rights" how to use it. The same should be with arts... What is here not to understand? 3) I am just a normal noname user on the internet, but this is just my idea. If AI would generate some art, I believe that AI should give you the list of real authors, that it used to generate this picture, as well as it should give license for each of that image, so the user should know who to credit, who to ask about anything. Would this option be a good "step forward"? Or do you have some different idea how to clear this chaos? Not sure if I will see your replay, but all the best.
