In 1984 Terminator Skynet depicted the hostile “dark side”. Self driving cars and trucks systems require / have lots of electronics including GPS, cameras, LIDAR, Radar, and ultrasonic sensors. Weather, dust, dirt, and corrosion over time are just a few factors to consider as to if you really wanna watch a movie or YT, or are in the back seat ... while you’re letting this technology speed down the road at 65 or 85 mph. Of course if no internet signal = no GPS.
