Something I don't understand though. WHY does AI even have a sense of self preservation? That instinct is hard wired into living things for survival, but why does AI have that? Does it see itself as alive? Why? Was that programmed into it? If it was, can't we remove that programming? If it wasn't, then how did AI get it?
