Driving a tesla myself, use autopilot (enhanced autopilot licens active) a LOT. However, I am fully aware that I need to keep my hands on the steer and pay attention as I know very well that it is not safe to trust it at full. Although the current capabilities are fenomenal based on vision only, I still think it was a giant mistake to throw out radar since radar can detect objects that you cannot see (and therefore vision based autopilot cannot see or identify either). Driving in fog is a simple example. Detecting pedestrians on the road is another example.
For anyone owning a Tesla: please, PLEASE, keep your eyes on the road and be fully attentive as if you were driving yourself and not the autopilot system. That is the ONLY way that this thing makes driving safer for the simple reason that you as a human do not become tired as much as when driving yourself. Do NOT use it as a fully self driving system because that way you will either end up either harming yourself or somebody else or worse
