I'm not an expert and don’t know much about art, but I think it's important to recognize that generative AI isn’t just about copying—it’s about creatively synthesizing and reinterpreting existing ideas, much like how human creativity works. We all draw inspiration from what we see and experience, then add our own unique twist. If we criticize generative AI for this, where do we draw the line? Are we saying only a select few with the time and resources to master traditional methods can create meaningful art? That approach only gatekeeps creativity and reinforces elitism.
Instead, we should embrace this technology for its ability to democratize art and make creative expression accessible to more people. It challenges the notion of what 'valuable' art is and expands the artistic community. If you truly love art, why not welcome new tools that allow more people to create and innovate? It’s about expanding the horizon of creativity, not restricting it to a privileged few
