I stopped programming in 1984 after I graduated HS and lost access to the TRS-80. I have to google "how install printer driver Win11". And in less than 1 day I created an App that solves some very real limitations with a 40 year old Linux inventory system, basically giving me the web accessibility and custom reporting I never had before. It saves me thousands of dollars a new system would cost and all the lost time a shutdown and reset would take. This was complicated stuff. Reverse engineering hexadecimal files. Finding a way to clone and rewrite files with the proper format outside the native system and put them back with the right incrementing. And Claude did it in about 9 versions. If you don’t think that is a big deal, I don’t know what it would take to convince you
