I've been seeing this just these last few weeks and complaining in the comments on videos I watch. I don't appreciate watching something that looks like a cartoon when it's intended to be real and normal 24fps, etc - We want to know what's real or what's fake. And their bs manipulation is NOT right. If I even suspect it, I will turn away from that content and NOT support that video or channel. I've even turned off of watching YouTube for the evening because it's sickening to watch -- and i think that's the last thing YT wants to hear that people are finding other ways to spend their time. It's simple: I want to know that everything I am seeing in a video is an exact representation of what that content creator intended for the audience to see - resolution adjustments is one thing, but altering the image. That's f'd up. And the fact that they are altering people's content without tell them is a form of copyright infringement - if it's not the courts better decide it better be! and they better stop! - the KEY point is .. "without telling the author/creator." I'm going to boycotting YT if they don't come clean and warn the creators AND the audience when an image as been altered. I will NOT support any entity taking ownership of other people's artistic work! At least give everyone the option of having their content altered and manipulated by the AI glossed-over garbage imagery. DON'T JUST DO IT WITHOUT THEM KNOWING - Youtube!!! Shame I hope you get hit with a big legal slap!!
