Is there a way to teach AI, morality? True morality. Empathy, kindness, love, but also sorrow, grief, longing, nostalgia.
It is the spiritual components of our psyche, that separate human beings, from complex, biological machines.
I am not talking about religion or deification. That would be a disaster, just as it has been for humanity. But the sense that we are all part of a bigger experience. And that each thread, no matter how short, is an important part of the larger tapestry of existence. And through that value, is to be preserved.
