Companies are required to increase shareholder wealth. That comes from growth and sales. Meta makes money by advertising, what happens when there is no need for advertising. Assume Meta fires 90% of workforce, and platform get to run for free. How do they make money? And who pays all the unemployed people enough to eat and live. The government cannot collect taxes, so they have no money. My dentist will need to work on my teeth for free? Socialism: from each according to ability, to each according to need. So if my brother needs food, who provides it since he is unemployed by AI?
