They need to be linked to each other, every other vehicle, the environment, computer networks, command and control centers, Algorithms and AI, nodes, Hotspots, and other means of connecting and getting info & feedback. Autonomous Vehicles and robo taxis cannot and should not be pillars unto themselves; that's just not gonna be viable.
