I'd really like to know how ai technology is going to end poverty and starvation, save us from climate change, get rid of systemic racism, dismantle unethical capitalism, stop gun violence, etc, etc, and bring us to some kind of Utopia. Because that's the Utopia I want; I am not sure what 'utopia' the tech bros want, but it seems that their vision of it is coming from a place where they aren't thinking about any of these things? If its living in some kind of virtual reality metaverse and just letting the real world burn, then we have severely different ideologies.
