@SolarSands said it's problematic if it can copy someone's work and then create something so similar people are confused if it is actually made by that artist. However, in short order, AI will be able to produce near identical work in the same style, without being trained on any of that artists artwork — is that theft? Which raises the question if a human created work that's so identical to an Artist they love, is that theft? Does the quantity of near identical production determine the theft?
