Honestly if AI steals “unpaid experience” gigs, that might be a silver lining. Projects like this pollute the art industry, and young desperate artists always fall for it. Creating an entire graphic novel for free for Joe Smhoe is great way to waste your time for someone who doesn’t respect you. I still feel bad for Alice, especially since she didn’t snap out of it for 10 years. I’m still worried about AI’s effects on the industry as a whole but taking scam gigs isn’t one that I’m concerned about.
