They keep calling their subject "This thing" which doesn't really exist, and is actually a bunch of "these neural networks optimized for certain tasks" is not "one thing with a personality". They are just reinventing religion at this point.
So this is just a video of pretty people talking about things that they don't have any clue on. Most people who are somewhat intelligent and like to daydream about their fascinations with things that would cause any change to their boring little lives dig this content.
