This is a pretty unsettling video. Regarding who is "at fault", I think the point is not that a regular human driver wouldn't have hit her (certainly from this video, it's hard to imagine avoiding her), but that the autonomous car was equipped with radar etc, which shouldn't have required any visible light at all, and still didn't detect her. And on top of that, we're now in the scenario everybody knew was coming, which is the "who do we say was responsible for the control of the car?" question. That complicates the whole situation, even if you think the pedestrian was at fault.
