Automation resulting in loss of certain jobs has been an issue for decades. I don't see anything wrong with it in principle. If both our countries don't take advantage of new technology, we'll be out-competed by other countries that do. What is crucial is that leaders such as yourself take the initiative in working out how to achieve this equitably so that everyone benefits.
