"Generated AI does not function without copyrighted work period." Ya do realize that's complete BS right. Using existing art just makes the process faster. Without existing art the AI would train itself like a human would train. Throw random shit on the canvas and see how good it looks. Like, you're missing the fundamental problem with your own racist arguments. The AI learns the exact same way people learn. Tell me how you train a human artist without showing them existing art and without their trainer ever knowing about existing art. You're just mad that it's faster than you. Also I want them to win their copyright cases because everyone should be able to do that. Our copyright laws are way too restrictive and I've been saying that since before Napster existed.
