AI like generative PRETRAINED models are only able to copy and mash together whatever HUMAN input they've been fed, they are incapable of originality because they have no novel thoughts. They're just glorified alphabet soups and even tho we have to add all the noodles we still are amazed at the patterns it "creates". If we didn't allow it to rob everyone on the internet of their intellectual property it wouldn't be able to "create" anything
