Nightshade and Glaze really not that effective. You can try using it if it gives you a piece of mind, but honestly it's basically snakeoil. Existing models won't be affected and future models can and will apply some image processing to mitigate their effects. Dataset poisioning is a whole branch of AI, with both techinques and protections constantly being developped. Nightsade and Glaze were a poisioning technique in a paper, but someone will write or already have written a paper about defending against them. If you are an artist and really want to protect your work, get a license for it and post it somewhere, so you can sue companies that use your art without your permission. That said, this technology is already here, you can't really make it disappear, even if you are against it, there will be artists who will gladly do commissions for training data, so it's not really going anywhere. AI can have good uses. When it's used responsibly, it can enable people to do creative stuff who other wise can't (either due to requiring to master a whole different skill or not being able to afford hiring someone), but yeah, asking DALL-E 3 for a picture of anime girl isn't exactly art, but something like Austin McConnel's Spider Queen video is.
