Business idea: A platform where any disruptive business partners up with common robotics manufacturers, to sell humanoid robots to end consumers. These consumers can assign common chores to these robots, offloading them. The coup: at the beginning, there is no actual ai running here. Robots are actually controlled by gig hired pilots who sign up to do those various chores. The end customer has to subscribe in different tiers to unlock more control of the pilots over the robots, as well as longer run times. Meanwhile pilots are ejected from the robot control if the time runs out or the pilot deviates from the assigned chore. Over time, the company records all pilots actions to feed into some ai model that is then trained on doing said chores. After a few years it should be ready to be deployed into the field for the first time. The free tier is converted into access to 24/7 robot interaction, but it uses ai only. All data the robots receive is sent to the data center to be analyzed, and of course sold off- can't have a business that doesn't sell your data after all, that's just plainly ignoring profits. The pilots are still able to control different robots, but their jobs are limited to higher tiers of payment. This creates the need for customers to subscribe to higher tiers while limiting the amount of money they have to pay the pilots through limiting the jobs pilots can run. Over time, this ratio gets skewed more and more in favor of running ai on the robots.
