Europe has created first law for AI, soon other countries will also start making laws which will increase the cost of using AI.
The main purpose of AI is business efficiency. Every business wants to produce products with the minimum cost by efficiently utilizing the available resources, that's why Apple and other tech companies want to manufacture in China but US govt comes to protect their public interest. Businesses also want maximum immigration to cut the human resource cost, but govt. intervene to protect the public interest. Such examples exist in Pakistan as well, like the auto assembling companies are protected by import duties on used vehicles. So the point is that even before AI there were a lot of innovations to improve the business efficiency and productivity but governments were always there to protect the general public interest.
This is not going to happen that AI will eat all the jobs and people will stay at home doing nothing.
