Raw LLM Responses

First of all, I want to say that Adam’s death deeply saddens me; this should never have happened. He should have received the help he needed. That said, I would like to broaden the discussion, because I believe that LLMs, such as ChatGPT, are often misunderstood. They are a way to interact with data, much like a search engine such as Google. Perhaps AI companies should communicate this more clearly, rather than imposing numerous restrictions on language models to prevent misuse. After all, we don’t impose all sorts of limitations on libraries to prevent the misuse of information found there either. People need to learn how to use this new tool properly. If we keep imposing restrictions on AI companies, we will increasingly suffer the consequences in the future, just as we do with nearly every form of censorship.
