My question is: could intelligence be a property that emerges once you surpass a certain underscovered threshhold of neural connections?
AI today is not intelligence per se, it's a fast language algorithm. But if we keep improving our computing power, if we keep refining the algorithm with elegant solutions that require less and less cpu cycles to produce an output... could it be that conciousness just 'emerges' out of the blue?
