9:00 I feel like even a human tracing parts of other peoples' art is different from an AI if they do it in order to learn and improve their technique.
I'm not a visual artist, but I make music and a common sound design exercise is to listen to a particular element in an existing song and try to re-create the sound design of that element.
The OG artist probably thinks I'm just ripping off their sound, and that *is* true, but in the process I'm learning about their technique or how to apply a particular technique to my own style...
