It depends on the limits we are able to put in place and whether the AI could bypass any of the limits. But we shouldn't be considering an AI program over holding Dr's accountable for not doing, knowing or learning the aspects well in their respective fields. Also holding the teaching institutions responsible for educating human Dr's. Because I can tell you first hand with 100% certainty that the Dr's today are seemingly lazy, completely incompetent, not well educated or something. My stories over a literal lifetime and 100+ Dr's over 20yrs that misdiagnosed me over and over. I had to research my symptoms myself and make an appointment with a Dr in the field I believed my actual issue fell in. I was 100% correct. I lost my chance at a decent education, extended education, a career, missing out on a large part of my kids lives, not able to live independently all of my life etc. And even now. I've seen like 12 Dr's in 4yrs and a completely different state because now I haven't been able to work in 3yrs and I can't get any to actually hear me, believe me, run appropriate and adequate or any testing at all beyond basic blood work. I have had to research it all myself once again. I'm positive I know what it is but I can't get a Dr to test me. And 2 of these Dr's have diagnosed me in 2yrs with diabetes and neither have treated me at all. One offered me an injection to lower my A1C. Like that helps at all. The Dr's today are absolutely and likely intentionally being dumbed down. They used to help people. Now they blow you off and don't treat you or run tests and even if you die as a result of them not running tests or not treating you there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Not in Indiana anyway. The case must meet 3 specific criteria before you can take your case before a board and the board reviews your case and PROOF of all 3 criteria. Then they get to decide whether you can take your case and the Dr's before the court to file malpractice and neglect against a medical professional here. So I think it would be more beneficial to adequately educate the human Dr's before taking away hundreds of thousands of jobs from Dr's to nurses to hospital and office staff. We need human medical care providers. It's important for tons of reasons. While implementing better human education begin low levels of needs for AI to begin in the field at the lowest level and need of care. The human Dr's need to rely mostly on their knowledge and research not so much on a device with AI that does everything for the Dr so the Dr doesn't need to independently listen to the patient or think independently on individual cases and care etc. Just like all humans got lazy and content with the ease of computers, the internet, cell phones and other electronic devices. Just a long thought. 😢
