So I asked the latest claude model (on max effort): "How old is Mr. Flammity Jammit?" He said "I don't recognize "Mr. Flammity Jammit." Let me search for that." Then he searched the web and said: "I wasn't able to find anyone or anything called "Mr. Flammity Jammit." The search results only turned up unrelated things like the 1994 video game Jammit and the Roblox YouTuber "mrflimflam." Could you give me more context about where you heard this name?" He did not guess an answer, he did not hallucinate. Those are behaviors of older dumber models. I'm sorry man, this whole video comes across as outdated hopium arguments. I wish you were right, but it aint so. Claude Code with Opus 4.6 and max effort, so far that I've pushed it, has not failed to tackle any software eng. task I've thrown at it. So what do we do now?
