Correction: most people aren't ready, and I for don't trust the tech. I travel 2 hours to get to my job site and then repeat on my way home. The amount of speeding, wreckless driving and complete stupidity on the road is astounding. What we really need are more stringent laws when it comes to speeding. Like anything over 85 mph should be an automatic 30 day suspension. Wreckless driving should be a year without a license.
This is an American problem.
When I visited Germany, their driving laws were wonderful. One DUI, no more licence. When an ambulance when on the road, EVERYONE immediately gave them space, and the roads were created to allow just that. People didn't eat and drive, they just drove...
