See, even though most of these arguments about how ai will replace actual artists so you might as well not create art are already silly, I think the main thing about it is blatant disregard of the artists' feelings on it. It's all about the "consumer", but what if I simply enjoy making it. What if it is a form of self-expression, and I do not care if anyone else is watching or listening. If they are, awesome!! but they aren't my first priority when I make my art. Should I stop making cakes when there are store-bought even though I enjoy baking. Should I not laugh at a joke I made up when there isn't anyone around to tell it to. It's not just about the "consumer's" experience, like. some people are just doing the things that they love.
