Fairness. In a world where 90% of the wealth is owned by 1% of the people. This 1% is not subject to fairness. Our political and legal systems allow them to have 90% of the wealth. Their power over the political and legal systems makes sure that they keep it that way. Until they are relieved of their power we will not have any kind of justice. The rise of artificial intelligence will take on a life of its own, and if they goals are set by the said billionaires we are looking at dystopia.
The video looks at the income of artists vanishing. It is a good example, but a small, a very small, part of the jobs that will vanish. Doctors, lawyer, economists, bus drivers, dustmen, clerks, accountants, insurance sales people, politicians (hopefully) and car mechanics. Almost everyone's jobs. And not a recipe for dystopia IF the wealth generated is not funnelled away to the billionaires. If it is redistributed to the common people. If we can get our minds round a new world view and change with the technology.
We are sitting on the railway line complaining about the way our coffee cups are vibrating on the rail.
