"AI", which these days commonly refers to LLMs, is not intelligent at all. It is a very powerful auto complete which only mimics whatever data you train it on.
These guys are sitting here talking about psuedointellectual sci Fi crap when what "AI" is currently being used, in the real world, for attempts to capture even more wealth/capital, surveillance and "target" acquisition in Palestine, evaporating people's water, pumping noxious fumes into poor communities, giving their most loyal consumers psychosis and encouraging child suicide. Seems like we should be talking about what's actually currently happening instead of bloviating about the next sci Fi book Yuval is gonna write.
